Nintendo Wii U video: hands-on first impressions

It's been a vintage year for E3, Sony announced its PlayStation Vita and now Nintendo has come out fighting with its Nintendo Wii U.

The much needed re-fresh comes with 1080p HD graphics, takes a proprietary optical disc format and is backwards-compatible with both Wii games and controllers. The most interesting addition is the controller; complete with a 6.2-inch screen and a full set of control options.

 

T3's Adam Bunker jetted to LA for an exclusive Nintendo Wii U hands-on. Although we weren't allowed to shoot the product itself, here's his impression of the new console in our Nintendo Wii U hands-on opinion video.
