Two Windows Phone developers have revealed a host of new features coming to the OS's first major update, known as Mango or Windows Phone 7.5.
Unsurprisingly, there are a few new Bing features on their way, including Bing Audio, a Shazam-alike Bing-powered service for identifying music.
There's also Bing Vision, a visual search service which allows users to search using the camera by scanning barcodes, QR codes or actual books, CDs or DVDs.

Graphophobics will welcome the inclusion of SMS dictation which is included as an option in the SMS application bar.
The Maps app will also be getting a bit of love; turn-by-turn navigation, for example, as well as voice guidance so you can use your Windows Phone as a sat nav device while driving.
The newly exposed features join what we already know is coming: new app organisation, multi-tasking, faster operation and a new browser. Now all we need is the official Mango release date, which is currently rumoured for autumn.
